Minimum viable product (MVP)

Minimum viable product (MVP)

Minimum viable product (MVP) is a product or a version of it that has just enough features to attract early customers. An MVP is usually made with as little effort as possible and it is used for verifying the idea and getting feedback from early customers. If they like the product, then the development can continue, taking all the feedback into account.

The term was first defined by Frank Robinson. Find out more about it here.
