Vulog products and services

The Vulog Mobility Platform lets an operator build a branded service around connected vehicles. It supports customer registration, identity and licence checks, reservations, pricing, payments, vehicle access and fleet operations. The same base can be configured for free-floating or station-based car sharing, digital rental, subscriptions, dealer loan cars and corporate mobility.

Vehicle Gateway links vehicles and their data with the platform. Vulog also provides software development kits and application programming interfaces so a customer can use its own app or connect other systems. The buyer may be a rental business, car maker, dealer group or specialist mobility operator.

Where does Vulog operate?

VU LOG SA is registered in Nice. Vulog markets its technology to programs in Europe, North America and other international markets. Individual client launches show reach, but they do not support a fixed global country count, so this profile does not use one.

Who owns Vulog?

Vulog is not presented as a subsidiary of a larger operating group. Its official company page lists a board and investors. A 2021 funding announcement named the European Investment Bank, Bpifrance, ETF Partners, Frog Capital and Inven Capital among its financial backers. Gregory Duconge serves as chief executive. The French business register identifies VU LOG as an active public limited company, a legal form that does not mean its shares trade on a stock exchange.

Vulog history and recent developments

French registry data places the company’s start in 2006. By 2017, technology reporting was already describing Vulog as infrastructure that businesses could use to create their own car-sharing services.

In June 2026, Vulog announced that US rental operator Rideshare Carz had expanded to Atlanta and Phoenix using its platform. The deployment covered booking, billing, fleet control and fraud-prevention workflows. The example is relevant because it shows Vulog serving a rental operation as well as classic car-sharing programs.
